Titanium Nitride is an extremely hard, inert, thin film coating that is applied primarily to precision metal parts.
Titanium Nitride (TiN) is the most common PVD hard coating in use today. TiN has an ideal combination of hardness, toughness, adhesion and inertness.

Titanium CarboNitride or Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) is a thin film coating that was developed from Titanium Nitride.
TiCN offers slightly higher hardness compared to TiN and can show a slightly lower friction coefficient in many applications.
It is primarily used to achieve enhanced abrasive wear resistance.
Aluminum Titanium Nitride
Aluminum Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) offers higher temperature resistance than TiN, as well as slightly higher hardness and especially higher hot hardness (i.e. the hardness at high temperatures).
It is primarily used in high temperature environments above the limits of TiN usage.
Aluminum Chromium Nitride
AlCrN is a top level all-rounder for thread cutting in non-ferrous materials.
The coating is extremely wear resistant with excellent hot hardness and thermal shock stability.
AlCrN provides exemplary performance against materials such as Ecobrass, Abrasive Aluminium grades & Copper.
